Use the writing guide with care.
Essaybot is a writing coach for students ages 13+ and adults. It uses AI, which can make mistakes. Check suggestions against your assignment and ask a teacher when you are unsure.
Keep names, school details, addresses, contact details, passwords, and other private information out of your writing. Essaybot does not save your prompt, draft, outline, or feedback. OpenAI processes the text and provider retention may apply.
Input and output safety checks can decline a request or miss a problem. Use classroom-appropriate material. Do not use the guide for sexual exploitation, harmful instructions, threats, or harassment.
If a topic reflects something upsetting in your own life, consider talking with a trusted adult or someone you trust. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. This writing tool is not an emergency or counseling service.
